Ok, that pic is from the BBC Worldwide Showcase in February 2010 (so they were indeed probably still filming), a thing the BBC has every year so media outlets from all over can come and screen shows and buy the rights to air them all over the world. I did a quick search on YouTube, and no footage. Also nothing on the web, but I didn't look too hard.

Blond Benedict is so far from what I usually like and I prefer him as a brunette or ginger, but for some odd reason I really liked him in that movie!

I don't know how familiar y'all are with reapersun on Tumblr, but he/she (don't know which) does some great/funny/dark fanart. Here's one of my faves. It has Sherlock, Bones, Psych, House and Criminal Minds all in one.

And the companion piece has all the "boyfriends."

Is the Daily Mail a shitty newspaper/tabloid?

I found this on Tumblr and it's completely opposite of other interviews that I've read. I have a feeling either he picked the wrong words (and didn't mean them) or this paper twisted them. I know ONTD made an issue about this last week on a post about the Hobbit.

Someone from ONTD said it is a tabloid that will twist words and posted this more reliable interview. His words were twisted in the above link and he don't seem racist to me.

I know nothing about the British press and tabloids.

I read that filming is going to start in early 2013. I really can't wait for the next season. I just started reading the books (free downloads from iBooks) to hold me over.

I hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised if we do. I was hoping for a mid 2013 date with the US airing it at the end of 2013, but I guess not.

I hope so. I keep wishing both Benedict and Martin drop whatever it is they're doing right now and get to the season 3, but then I remember it's The Hobbit they're doing and I shut up
