I think there will always be detractors for everything. Heck, even when Benedict, Martin, and Moffatt---all well-known and respected in their respective fields---were first rumored to be attached to a "modern take" if Sherlock Holmes, there were so many awful, loud, unrestrained doom and gloom comments. They're all eating crow now.

I would love to go(my bday is the next day) but I don't want to go out of town and not actually get in! I wish they sold tickets the way concert tickets are sold. I don't want to shell out money for gas, food and hotel accommodations for nothing.

You also have to have a badge for SXSW, so if you're just wanting to go to the Sherlock thing, it's not really worth it. SXSW is expensive! And the traffic's already bad in Austin! I'm just going to forget about it and hope someone somewhere goes and posts pics. I'm just kinda bummed because I feel like nothing Sherlock related happens in TX, so of course when it does it's both impractical and impossible for me to go! Oh well, I'll be waving goodbye to Galveston from the deck of the boat, fruity drink in hand.

I've seen this picture a lot, I think it's from some press they did right before the first episode aired (or maybe before, given Benedict still has his Sherlock hair and he usually dyes/cuts it soon after they're done shooting, not to mention he's not fond of it and it makes him "look like a woman") and I've never ever seen any footage from it anywhere, sorry.Look how Martin's feet dangle.

Tell me about it and you know me, I have worshipped Steven Moffatt since Coupling UK so to be sooo close and not to even get to go? That's like when JC came to a public event in a lake 5mins away from me and I couldn't bloody go. . All that teasing, not cool, fates!
