Soap Opera Digest has learned that DAYS's überpopular Peter Reckell (Bo) has been quietly informing castmates that he is leaving the show. The actor, who first came to Salem in 1983 and quickly shot to superstardom, has reportedly been in protracted talks with the soap to work out a new deal. "We do not comment on contract negotiations," says a spokesperson. "We hope that Peter stays with DAYS OF OUR LIVES." See the new issue of Digest, on sale Friday, for more.

Looks like one of the finest young actors to ever appear on Days of our Lives, Blake Berris may be on his way back to reprise the role of Nick Fallon! According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, insiders at DAYS are reporting that Berris is indeed returning to Salem!
The actor joined the soap in 2006 and left in 2009 when Nick went wacko and was carted off to prison after being fixated on Melanie Layton (Molly Burnett).
Now this could be an interesting twist here, if Nick was to come back would he be in cahoots with Gabi, who is obsessed with Chad (Casey Deidrick)! Could it be two psychos against the popular lovebirds? Or, could Nick have his act together and wanting to start anew in Salem? Time will tell!
