I mean people who have their license and know how to drive but choose not to. If so, what were your reasons?
No one I know seems to understand why I hate driving so much. I find it so stressful and the thought of accidents is so scary to me. I've never been in an accident but I've had a few close calls that scared the crap out of me. I honestly just want to quit driving all together. Even though I drive carefully, the thought of making a mistake and causing an accident that hurts or kills someone is so scary and always in the back of my mind. I live in a big city where its pretty easy to get around by public transit so getting around wouldn't be a problem (Just less convenient).
But everyone I talk to acts like its an insane idea and can't understand why I feel this way. Has anyone else decided to give up on driving for one reason or another and did it end up being a big deal?
