We're petsitting a toy poodle. She was miserable the first few days, then she cheered up a lot. She was very playful. I went out of town for 2 days while my sister and parents stayed home, but they work during the day. The owner said it was okay if she was left alone like that, but she's been acting SOOO lonely recently.
Before my sister went to work this morning, she couldn't/wouldn't open her left eye, but every time she was brought to the sink to rinse it, she'd open it like nothing happened.
When she came home today (and I did too), she started to limp in her walk. I thought it was just nothing for a few hours, but it got worse. She's trying not to use her left legs and she's now hopping around. She's eating and drinking fine and she will come to me as best she can when I call for her (to see if she's okay). She'll wag her tail and stuff, but its the limping that's just depressing the hell out of me. I'd take her to her vet, but the owner didn't tell us where!
Part of me just thinks she's doing this just for attention because we've been busy the past two days.
