i met a friend at a bar tonight who was going out for his friend's 21st. there was a big group of them when we got there.
end of the night comes, birthday boy is drunk and gives waitress $25 cash. she then gets the bill and when they are short, and birthday boy says he gave her $25, she puts up a fight saying he gave it to her as a tip. friends get angry saying he didn't and she was clearly taking advantage of him.
everyone walks out, thinking the bill is paid.. waitress tracks group down saying they still owe her $8. someone in the group asks if that's after adding the $25 to the balance and she still claims that was a tip and is getting rude with the group about it until someone just takes out $8 and hands it to her to calm the situation and get everyone to leave.
correct or no on waitresses part?
