i am the lizard queen
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I just wanted to get on the bandwagon of sharing old toy stories. My mom wanted me to keep every damn toy I ever got, but I just couldn't do that, there was too much stuff and some just didn't mean a lot to me. But I had to keep the best, the ones that mean the most to me, like my big brown teddy bear that was my kleenex when I cried, for whatever reason. He was also my surgercial dummy bear, when I would play doctor by myself and I'd cut him open, heal him and then sew him up (although I couldn't figure out how to sew with a needle and thread, so I would cut little slits on either side of the hole and sew him up with elastic band, which is still on him today ). And I still have my little musical wind up teddy bear that my mom would put in my crib and then as I got older, told me to wind it up when I got scared and sing to Jesus to protect me, with the "Jesus loves me, this I know" song. And then of course, there is the Barbie's. Good God, the Barbie's Okay, done.

I busted up laughing. It was the weirdest change in emotion I've ever felt in my entire life.
