If everyone stayed out of threads that contained celebs they DON'T like - there wouldnt be so many problems. It's that their shouldn't be any problems, these are celebrities not your personal friends or family members, why are people so protective or defensive about people that don't even know who you all are lol. I like megan fox, carmen electra, do I care if people don't , no because it makes no difference to me, it's not like carmen is my sister or best friend, which is how some of these preople act, like these celebrities are their close friends and family. And I don't dislike christina, I have all her cds, just cause I like her music I don't have to find her kid cute though. One thing doesn't go with the other. Seriously people don't take comments on other celebrities so personal, until it's about you, it's not a big deal. same here i go in a lot of threads i don't LOVE all these celebs but i like them and i don't hate them no reason for me to. i want to see what they're wearing, or what they're doing etc and if i don't like how they look or whatever i'll say it. it shouldn't be a problem at all. and even if people hate a celeb they'll go in the thread anyway and see what they're doing it's just out of curiosity and they'll say what they think cause they should be able to voice their opinion. not everyone has to be beautiful or look gorgeous or whatever. i mean what goes on in kim kardashian threads people say she looks busted now, and looks like an alien, and they want her to go away.. well "if you don't like her stay out" like you said but that doesn't happen and half the board doesn't like kim anymore and i will admit i do go in kardashian threads to see what they wear or how they look whatever and yes i do bash kim too but i don't hate her and even if i did i should be able to go in the thread like anyone else anyway. the ppl in op are to uptight not the mods, or admins the users that is. okay i'm done

The thread is like a conversation, and why would one only wish to speak with people who share the same opinions? A dissenting voice can be enlightening and even help enrich someone's viewpoint (agreeing or disagreeing).IMO, the problem is that people say and take things too seriously, and attack other posters.

Its intensely creepy how crazy people get about celebs.

brneyechick82 wrote:^ but it makes a difference to you because? Like why do you care if someone is called ugly, as long as your not being called ugly, it has nothing to do with you, it's a matter of opinion. The point is you could go around and around, but I can speak for myself and I'm sure a few others, I'm not gonna post oh how cute in every thread just because that's what people wanna hear. And i'm not gonna stay out of threads either, if it gets under people's skin than that is their problem, but honestly people you don't know nor will ever know personally, stupid to care so much about what is said about them or their kids. And when I see other people not do the same exact thing in threads like megan fox, kim, say how plastic they look, how fake, how unattractive, than maybe I will take some of you seriously. For most people here it's a double standard, they can bash who they want, but jump on other people if they don't agree on other celebrities. so spare me the high and mighty act, when everyone does the same thing, it's just more acceptable to be catty about pretty women like the ones I mentioned.

You don't have to agree but there is a difference between opinions, having a discussion and bashing. Being one of the first people in a thread and saying "Oh, he's ugly" or "He's no so and so, he looks like like his father" (and you know the person thinks the father is ugly, in turn calling the child ugly) so tell me where is the "discussion" in that one? No where. Less than half the time is a discussion, yes but more than half is just straight up bashing. And don't put the blame on people being "too serious". Like samantha said, it's not WHAT you say.. it's HOW you say it.

Like samantha said, it's not WHAT you say.. it's HOW you say it. Great point. You're right going in the same celebrity thread calling them ugly and their children ugly over an over again. Damn we got the point the other 100 times you went into the thread. Saying there ugly is an opinion the first time. But saying it on every thread a certain celebrity is in and not even discussing or given opinion on what they have on and just calling them ugly period without discussing anything else makes no sense to me. Don't discuss the clothes, hair nothing. Just say she/hes' ugly. The baby is ugly then you already mentioned time and time before you don't like them. So we know your reason for going in a thread. We know you don't like them and so what? Don't go in the thread. You're not discussing or giving an opinion. Just jealous of that celebrity or just being annoying because you think it's cute. It is NOT cute. This is when you need to grow up. I don't even bother to try to go to certain threads because no one wants to discuss the pictures. They discuss how they hate them and how they are ugly. The picture threads are to discuss the picture. General forum and tv forums are to discuss the celebrity. No one cares if you hate them or not. The point is to discuss the pictures in the thread not tell us a thousand times they are ugly and you don't like them or their baby is ugly every single time you make a comment of a celebrity you hate. t

The bashing of ANYONE isn't okay. Celebs or not. Yeah opinions are fine but there's a difference between opinions and bashing, as Ive already stated. In the Christina thread I mentioned earlier, she made it a point to mention - not once, but twice in the SAME thread that she doesnt think Christinas son is cute. which is fine - for the first post but the second? Is starting trouble/bashing which is what she accomplished. You don't seem to get the point I was trying to make earlier and that's fine. You wanna run in circles, have at it, but because, brneychick will continuously go into threads just to bash she inturn will be bashed as well. She starts the domino effect so I dont understand why you don't understand why she gets bashed all the time. You want people to give her a break? It's not going to happen, and she will continue to get attacked because she knowingly goes into these threads start bullshit. And you know what I say to that? Oh well. She knows what she's doing and that's that.
