When you signed up to JJB you agreed to the rules that are posted in the Announcement Forum. I realize sometimes people gloss over them and just flat out ignore them (I've done that from time to time). Now we do not have special rules for this forum (minus the crediting the source one), so when someone violates a rule and then claims they didn't know about it, it's not really our fault considering JJB has had these rules for a good long time now. Yeah, some of them have been re-written over time, but it still stands. What I am going to do is re-post the rules here, for you guys to see. Again, these are not special rules for OP, they are JJB rules period. With the addition of new moderators and administrators, there will be more activity. This activity will include, but is not limited to: * Threads being locked. * Threads being moved to appropriate forums. * Threads being deleted. * Warning members for behavior. * Banning members for behavior. Rules include, but are not limited to: * Do not post another member or past member's photo. * Do not post another member or past member's personal information. This includes social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, blogs, etc... * Do not attack other members. * Do not harass other members. * Do not post private messages. * Do not spam the board. Spamming includes quoting for the sake of quoting. Breaking these rules could result in a warning or banning at the discretion of JJB staff. Warnings and banning will be on a situational basis. Banning is not up for discussion and previously banned members will be banned again. This isn't a democracy. We aim to have a safe and fun community where people can connect with one another and have healthy discussions. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to PM this account. We're not targeting anyone here, our OP mods do a WONDERFUL job, but sometimes the admins have to step in and make sure it doesn't get too crazy in here. Some people think if anybody of color is called ugly, that automatically equals racism. Yet they don't see the threads of say gwen stefani, christina aguilera, gwyneth paltrow when people say they or their families are unattractive. They are people that moderate the boards though, so I don't think you have to worry about what people can or can't get away with, I'm sure if they are doing something out of line, they would be told.

I've seen things get pretty ugly around here in the past, so it's nice to make sure that all of us (including me) remain aware of the rules. Like the rules say, this should be a fun place to share our opinions while respecting other's opinions at the same time.

Racist & Homophobic "opinions" are not allowed on JJb. If you see anyone making any of those comments, please report them in Q/S and a mod will take care if ASAP.

I think that's why she gets attacked a lot. The Christina thread is a perfect example. Why would anyone want to waste their time on someone they dislike? If everyone stayed out of threads that contained celebs they DON'T like - there wouldnt be so many problems.

I like megan fox, carmen electra, do I care if people don't , no because it makes no difference to me, it's not like carmen is my sister or best friend, which is how some of these preople act, like these celebrities are their close friends and family. And I don't dislike christina, I have all her cds, just cause I like her music I don't have to find her kid cute though. One thing doesn't go with the other. Seriously people don't take comments on other celebrities so personal, until it's about you, it's not a big deal.

I'm just honest with my opinions, I'm not phony or fake. I never have once called anybody here names though, unless of course they have to me first, which they have because they feel they have to protect and defend all these celebrities. I get being a fan of someone, we all are, but it's not serious enough to act like someone is slamming your mother or first born lol. People think by attacking me or others that people will stop posting, not a chance, especially when i'm not doing anything wrong. You don't have to like my opinion, I don't agree with many others. The difference is i'm not obsessed with every word or post they make unless they bring me up, which is most of the time with the same people.

Seriously people don't take comments on other celebrities so personal, until it's about you, it's not a big deal. same here i go in a lot of threads i don't LOVE all these celebs but i like them and i don't hate them no reason for me to. i want to see what they're wearing, or what they're doing etc and if i don't like how they look or whatever i'll say it. it shouldn't be a problem at all. and even if people hate a celeb they'll go in the thread anyway and see what they're doing it's just out of curiosity and they'll say what they think cause they should be able to voice their opinion. not everyone has to be beautiful or look gorgeous or whatever. i mean what goes on in kim kardashian threads people say she looks busted now, and looks like an alien, and they want her to go away.. well "if you don't like her stay out" like you said but that doesn't happen and half the board doesn't like kim anymore and i will admit i do go in kardashian threads to see what they wear or how they look whatever and yes i do bash kim too but i don't hate her and even if i did i should be able to go in the thread like anyone else anyway. the ppl in op are to uptight not the mods, or admins the users that is. okay i'm done Edited By: imALuckyStar112 05/09/2010 11:58 PM.
