My dad was laid off twice in the last 6 years... thankfully found a job the second time around quickly.. but it didn't pay more.. I'm looking at the Dual Degree program of an MFA in Film with a MBA that focuses on producing. The FAQ on there pretty much said $135,000 total spent after three years + the cost of living in NYU or Room and Board in graduate housing. Then tack on the extra up to $30,000 I will have to spend making my own films. SUPER EXPENSIVE. Tuition per semester at NYU is double the amount I paid for a full year at UC.

Depends on if their into the music aspect of it or not. I actually dressed in undergrad in regular jeans and t shirt, but then eventually moved on to slacks, nicer blouses. I actually attended a music conservatory that had a media major in it. So almost everyone dressed nicely. Also, Sparkle.. honestly, highest risk, highest return.. And I took a big leap moving to a city where I knew NO ONE went to college and did great! I don't have wealthy parents or the contacts to get me where I would like to go on my own.
