Sorry for the confusing title ![]()
I have to email someone from a new job i'm starting in May. They were just assigned as my principle (pretty much the person who is responsible for me until I become a real lawyer). He's a partner at one of the most 'traditional' firms in the city here. But with that said, its the west coast and nothing is TOO formal. The guy himself seemed some what laid back.
I should probably address my email to Mr "Last Name" right? For some reason, it just seems so STRANGE to write an email (so informal) like that. I wish my parents forced the last name thing on me more when I was younger, so it wouldn't feel so awkward!
Safer to use last name though?
