We all know (those who have watched all 3 seasons) what happened in her youth and why maybe she's messed up but that doesn't give her the right to be a bitch to everyone and lie and cheat and go into massive amounts of debt. It's so wrong but I just love this family and I can't wait to see the new season, it looks so good from the previews! And I can't stand that holiday promo with Roman and his wives/family, all singing a Christmas song and dancing around a big Christmas tree. Blah! My favorite character is Margene because although she plays a bubbly and cheerful woman who you think is a ditz, she's not, she's a smart woman but she just happens to want to see the nicer sides of everyone. Also, for anyone with Charter, HBO has the entire season 3 Ondemand, it used to be season 2 and 3 but now it's just 3.

According to my Entertainment Weekly magazine a couple weeks ago, some hints about the new season, or spoilers, are that Bill may enter into politics as a non-polygamous family and then if he wins, he'll come out at a polygamist and hopefully his family can be the poster child for polygamy and show it in a new light/good light. It also said that season 4 would explore the sexual chemistry or wannabe relationship between Ben and Margene. That REALLY pisses me off because even though they have hinted towards it many times throughout all 3 seasons, I have felt that it's only been from Ben and Margene has not reciprocated the feelings that Ben has, so that pisses me off that they will spend some time on that.

Oh no, I'm sorry! I opened the thread and just scrolled to the bottom to quick reply, not really reading any comments. I thought this was going to be a Big Love post because the 4th season starts next week so I didn't really read any comments besides Tiger's when I was writing my reply. If it makes any difference, I don't even know if any of what I wrote is true, it was just hinted in the magazine. As for the Benny stuff, they've already established he's got a crush on Margie, right? That's all there is, the crush/sexual chemistry on Benny's part, like there isn't anything overly huge. I know you just said that she openly flirts with Ben, but honestly, there really isn't anything to the storyline anymore, in my opinion, so I'm just confused as to why they hinted towards it in the mag. I mean stuff happens, I personally didn't take it as huge stuff, just a point in the storyline about the family. I really honestly don't think anything is spoiled, there is so much more stuff that is bigger in the 2nd and 3rd season and then from the previews, it looks like it gets really good in the 4th season but you still don't know what exactly is going to happen. But again, I'm so so so so sorry, I should have read because I know how I hate being spoiled with stuff.

I want to ask though, after seeing how Margie and Benny act around each other, do you get the feeling that she purposely flirts with him? Or just does it because it's who she is/was? Like I got the feeling that she wanted to be their friend more than a mom and as the seasons go on, she grows up more and becomes a mom to them instead of a friend.
