Someone told me (I can't vouch for how true this is so, take with a grain of salt) that Ticketmaster lets Stubhub buy blocks of tickets before they go on
sale so TM gets a kickback. Again, no idea how true that is, but it would explain a lot.

That must be it. The Orlando show isn't even listed yet on Ticketmaster for an on sale date, but there are StubHub tickets available.

There really should be some sort of investigation into this stuff. Tickets are expensive enough plus all the fees...then they get sold to StubHub who sells
them for even more of a profit. None of it's right.

Could it also be an instance of someone having season tickets to all events at a certain venue? Do venues even do that anymore? (For non-sporting events, I
mean.)

It is probably a season ticket thing. But Stub Hub does have "contracts" with venues. Same with Live Nation and TM.

I don't think they have season tickets for concerts like this, at least I've never heard of that before. Broadway series, yes, but huge ass concerts?
Well, I'll just hope for the best when they go on sale. Hopefully they'll be an AMEX presale. |

Some venues do have season passes that apply to all concerts. Most the outdoor "shed" venues.
