i can show you how to unlock an iphone 3G. Blackberrys are a little different as, as you need to acquire the IMEI code from your carrier, or purchase one online

Unlocking a BlackBerry is just pointless. If you wanna use a BlackBerry on another network, just get the BlackBerry on that network. Unlocking it will render it useless.

my credit is bad i cannot take another phone, i got this blackberry of ebay and it's without internet, locked to the very crap Orange UK, so not necessary

ummm no it won't

... all of my blackberry phones have been unlocked and they work just fine

Are you using it on the same carrier it's supposed to be used for? If so, that's why. Because the phone is set to use the internet provided by that carrier, it won't work on others.

no, i don't have an internet and no, i want to use it on other carrier - for unlimited text proposed.
anyway i tried buying the unlocking code on ebay and it was pointless, didn't work =/

Don't worry i will help you.If the unlock code did not work,you can better ask for refund from eBay they will assist you.If you need to unlock Blackberry Curve 8900 and Iphone 3g free service is not possible to get.You need to pay to get unlock code and remote unlocking service for I-phone 3G from Simpleunlocking.com and get unlock code for $9.45USD from Unbblock.com and unlock Blackberry curve 8900 ,Iphone 3G.Then you can use with any GSM network sim card.
