I would have shut down also. And it seemed she wanted to leave but someone on the sidelines kept telling her to sit there. She could no longer hear what was going on by then so just plastered a smile on her face and sat there I guess until she was told she could leave. The View tried to ask her the same questions and she said the same thing to them, that she wasn't allowed to comment, and they moved on.

I think it's disgusting that she answered a question honestly as to how she felt about a topic and now everyone hates her. So much for "freedom of speech" in the U.S.! I can undestand if people didn't agree with her opinion, and I'm one that doesn't, but the way people have attacked her since is sickening.

The reason why I find her annoying is because she says all these things about being a good Christian and then she goes and does 'un-Christian like' things. I am all for free speech and I was actually glad that she answered how she felt at the pageant.

I can undestand if people didn't agree with her opinion, and I'm one that doesn't, but the way people have attacked her since is sickening. She can't talk about the details of the agreement. She is not barred from discussing WHY she settled, only what the terms of the settlement were. Larry was asking her WHY. I hate her not for her answer, but because she keeps saying she was punished for sharing her opinion. That is not true. She lost her crown because she did not hold up her end of the agreement, it had nothing to do with her answer to that question -- furthermore, people are free to have their own opinions about her, that's free speech too. She acts like she is the only person who has free speech.
