I wish I had thought of this earlier but now I've got an hour and a half until trick-or-treating starts here and Noah wants Oscar (our dwarf rabbit) to go
with us. Oscar would probably actually enjoy himself, he loves attention and being outside.
I could just take him as is but I thought it would be more fun to at least make him a green rabbit or something...or maybe paint a black mask around his eyes (Noah's Iron Man so maybe he'd kind of match the super hero idea). I know people do this with other pets but do you think a bunny would have any particular problems? Can I use any old food coloring? HOW do I do it? Dilute it in water and "paint" him or put it in a spray bottle and spray him down? I don't want him to be really wet because we won't have time for him to dry.
And before anybody asks, Oscar has a harness and leash (though I'd probably end up carrying him most of the time anyway...still with harness and leash on) and we don't go around a large area. We've been taking him outside more lately and he's loving it more and more.
It's probably too late to do anything other than take him with no "costume."
