I got terrible cystic pimples that took me months to get rid of.A few months ago I tried using the studio fix powder over top of my MUFE liquid foundation and I got tiny little bumps everywhere.

Or should I stay clear of MAC because of that I'm just wanting a heavier foundation for when I go out at night so it's something I won't be wearing all the time all day. And I like to have at least medium coverage if it helps.

You should try Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, MUFE, or maybe Clinique. I've tried many, many foundations and I've found the best from these lines. I don't work for MAC but I work for a makeup line and I own a lotttttt of MAC. Edit: If anything, go to the counter and have them make you a sample of a foundation. Then you can use it for a few days to see how your skin reacts.

Oh, and if you want to try the Cover FX stuff, you can get it at Sephora and at Nordstrom. Not all Nordstrom stores carry it in the store (mine doesn't), but nordstrom.com sells it. If you go to the Cover FX website (www.coverfx.com), you can read about it and click pictures to help you find the right shade.

I'll check into Cover FX and the MUFE stuff and compare
