It's a 5-bed/2-bath home right now, but when we're done, it will be 4 bed/3-bath. We're going to add on a 3-stall garage, too. It's got 11
acres, most of which is on a riverfront. It's going to be so peaceful and quiet....I can't wait!!

UPDATE!
~~~~~~
We've been working on the house quite a bit lately, and I thought I'd post some new pictures. Most of the "destruction" is done, with the
exception of a couple very small things. There are three windows left to be put in (one big one, and two small ones, which will go very quickly) as well as a
patio door.
Here's the entry, with the old wood paneling and flooring ripped out. We had to take out some of the sheet rock, due to water damage. There will be pine
paneling on the bottom third of the walls:
This is the kitchen, with everything cleared out. We had to rip up old lenoleum, then 1/4" particle board, then REALLY old lenoleum, to get down to the
sub-floor. That's a new window, too. It was measured for cabinets this weekend:
This is the living room and a small portion of the dining room, where the staircase is to the left. All of the old paneling has been taken off. We're
putting up knotty pine paneling in it's place. There will be a storage closet where the stairwell is (doorway on the left). To the far left, you can see
the staircase:
New windows in the living room:
New window in the downstairs bedroom/office, and then the knotty pine paneling that we put up. Also, you can see the flooring has been taken up:
I am not posting many pics from the upstairs, since it pretty much looks the same right now
This is a picture of the wall between the two upstairs bedrooms, kinda "half-way" taken down. It'll eventually be one big master bedroom, but we
have to wait for the electrician to come out and remove the outlets, before we can take the studs down. This pic is from a couple of weeks ago. We've
since replaced ALL of the windows upstairs:
And I don't have any pictures of the downstairs bathroom yet. Everything is ripped out of there too...I just forgot to take a picture of it!
We close on Friday. I guess it's not really a "new" house, but, it will be OURS, which is the important thing. No more renting! No more living
in town! I am so excited!
