I remember when I was younger (2nd grade-ish or so) and I had a list that I prepared every now and then to try to convince my parents to change it for me. "Stephanie" was a fore runner for a few years thanks to my Full House obsession.

I love my name (Oluwatobi means "God is Good" in Yoruba). And I want to someday name my daughter Jordan. And if I have more than one daughter, I want to name the second one Elliot. Elliot Elise. People can suck on that too. I'm not naming your kid!

Though, I met a couple women name Henry, this other girl named Michael. I don't want to say it because I'm afraid it is, but I bet her name is Riley. I've known a boy named Riley and people with that as a last name, and I know it's occasionally used as a female name. Sorry Courtney if it is! You don't have to tell us if we're right or wrong. I have an average name, and had several other kids in my class with my name growing up. It's very common in my age group, but in recent years has died down a lot. It didn't bother me at all growing up and I still got teased, but for my last name instead. I really haven't thought about it, but I think I'd be more likely to go with a more traditional name than something totally unique if I had a child.

That's one of the reasons my kids have "normal" names. I hated my name growing up. Now, there are a ton of little girls with my name. It's so strange.
