If they got an abortion, people who disapprove of abortion under any circumstance would have probably called them selfish (how many times on JJB have we seen the abortion post have comments that it's a selfish act?) And as this post is evidence of, keeping it makes them selfish too. Yeah Christianne, what you really mean is they should have made the decision that YOU believe is best for their baby. They obviously don't feel that an abortion was what was best for their baby. There is nothing wrong with how you and they feel...neither of you are totally wrong or totally right. But both of you would probably fight hell and high water before you'd make a decision for you child based souly on the opinion on what someone else thought was best for your child.

The fact that they said they are only keeping it because of insurance reasons is a bit unsettling. And if they couldn't afford an abortion, and the child does live for any amount of time, how are they going to pay for his care? But do you guys believe that any pregnancy that isn't 100% normal should be aborted? Like, children born with Down Syndrome and other mental and physical problems? That's like saying you would never want to give birth unless the child was completely healthy. Miracles do happen, and some babies have overcome tremendous obsticals. I can understand them wanting to pray and hope for the best. I don't understand them saying in one line that they wanted to abort but couldn't, so now they are just going with it. That to me is like WTF?
