Yay, Brad won at home! So happy for him. The end to the Nationwide race was quite exciting...hopefully the Cup race will be just as good tomorrow. I kinda have
a feeling that Dale Jr. is gonna be good!

Yeah, that was a bummer for Jimmie. I would have rather he won then Vickers.
I'm happy Dale finally got a good finish. He was great there at the end, very fast. 1 or 2 more laps and he might have won! |

Sad JJ got screwed by fuel mileage yet again at Michigan But happy for Brian and the 83 team! They have been knocking on the door most of the season and were
bound to win a race sooner or later.
I really do not understand all the JJ fans who are pissed that Chad left JJ out there and didn't pit when Junior did. At this point in the season, and where the 48 team is in points, points don't matter. They need to go for wins to gain more bonus points for the Chase. And they sure as hell wouldn't have won if they pitted since the 83 and 24 both made it on fuel. They had to gamble if they wanted to try to win. I do think though that JJ has no idea how to save fuel. On the other hand, I have no idea what Alan was thinking leaving Mark out there. They were too close to the bottom of the top 12 to take that chance and it bit them in the ass. They cannot afford to have anything bad happen in the next 3 races and need to seriously points race. Of course, personally, I don't care if they don't make the Chase. I don't dislike Mark or the 5 team, but if they cost themselves a place in the Chase, that is one less serious competitor for the championship that JJ has to battle.

Totally agree about Alan leaving Mark out there. That was a bad move. And with Bristol coming up no less!
But my guy is no where near Chase contention, so I don't really care. |

So, the guys who were in the Chase last season were at the White House today. They were looking all good in their suits!
Can't wait for Bristol Saturday! |

Dang, the Hendrick cars qualified badly. Except Mark, of course.
Hope it's a good race. If I remember correctly, the Spring race was very boring. As always, I'm going with Dale Jr.! |

I'm happy Dale had a great run. He should have finished better then 9th, but those late cautions really hurt him. Looks like they're finally improving.
Jimmie had a good comeback. He finished in the top 10...which is good considering he was mid-pack when all those late race wrecks happened. And boo Kyle winning. I'm still holding out hope that he won't make the Chase! |

How 'bout Brad K. signing with Penske for the 2010 season? Wonder what will happen to Stremme.

That was a pretty good race, minus the end. Dale Jr. ran great all race, I hate that his team got a poor finish because of that last caution. I don't know
what they did to his car on that last pit stop, but it ruined the car.
It was good to see Harvick being competitive again. Would have liked to see him win that one. And, of course, it was fun to see Kyle do badly! Still holding out hope that he doesn't make the Chase! |

I hope Jr gets better. There are rumors that he will be leaving HMS in a year or two and I dont want to see that.
I'm glad Kasey won, but he could of taken off his gloves after he won. They scared my 6 year old neice. |

I can't imagine that Rick Hendrick would get rid of him. Even though he's having a terrible season, he's still making Rick and HMS a lot of money.
And honestly, I think that was the real reason Rick signed him in the first place. My opinion, of course.
I just can't help but think Dale will be back to being competitive next season. They are improving, the results just don't always show it. |
