Is there anything out there for horrible ear aches? |

I have a horrible, horrible ear ache from my tonsillectomy last Thursday. I took Ibuprofen but it's still killing me..
Is there anything out there specifically for ear aches? I don't know what else to do.

Did they give you any antibiotics from the tonsillectomy? I don't know if they would or not...but antibiotics are really the only thing that will clear up
an ear infection. Sorry, I'm not much help. Can you go back to your doctor and get it checked out?

i don't think so. but growing up i found heat to help. i had an ear infection recently and i found that putting a heating pad on that ear and laying down
on it helped the most.

They gave me Ammoxil to prevent infection and Darvocet for pain for my throat. It doesn't seem to help the pain in my ears, though. I feel like such a
baby.
