If you leave your purse or something else at someone else's house, do you expect that person to drive to you to get it back to you? Or do you expect yourself to go back and get it yourself?
I know there's a JJB answer for this!

Just curious, in JJB's opinion, what's the protocall on this |

Go get it yourself. It's not their fault you left it. I'd never make someone bring something like that to me.

Unless they happen to be meeting you elsewhere and thus it's easier for them to bring it with them, then you go get it yourself

uhh if you leave something at my house, dont expect me to bring it back to you. you need to come get whatever YOU left YOURSELF. unless the other person doesnt
have a car or a way to get back to my house.

Thank you! I got a text from her asking for me to bring it over to her (after I told her we were running late going to my parents' party!) I'm going to
do it, but partly because I can't get over how blunt she was! lol
Here's the text: Her: What time are you heading out? Me: To my parents' house? in an hour. we're running late. Her: Can you bring me my purse? Me: To your house?? (her house is in the opposite direction we're going btw) Her: Yes, please! Me: ok... Her: thank you very much! |

This should be obvious.... get it yourself. Unless the person is going in your area and volunteers to drop it off for the person that left it behind. But
really .... who forgets their purse!

I'm glad everyone agrees with me. I don't think it even passed through her mind that it should be HER driving to MY house. I already agreed to go, but
I'm not happy about it, and def. won't stay to chat!
OK, and now I need to get off JJB and finish getting ready |

Get it yourself. Unless, like others have said, that person volunteers. Even if they volunteered I'd feel bad unless I knew they had to pass my house on
their way to work or wherever else they were going.

The thing is, we'll be at the same party later today, but when I told her that, she said she needed to do her online banking!

I should have said that. I knew I should have come to JJB before replying!
I think I'll just shoot her a text on the way over saying to please be ready, and that we're running late as I mentioned earlier. |
