would be a good movie if not for the singing!!! OMG I have never been so annoyed by a musical in my entire life.

At least the cast of Dreamgirls could actually SING!
Mama Mia didn't flow. It was like "acting, acting, acting . . .*random song that kinda fits in with what conversation they are having right now* acting, acting *random song*" It was annoying. In most other musicals, the music is actually written for it. And it flows and actually makes sense to be singing at that point in time. Mama Mia just didn't do it for me. |

I watched the first time and laugh meryl streep and old people sanging and dancing. Watched it again and actually enjoyed the music. SO I had to buy it. I
agree some songs do fit into the movie.

It's definitely more enjoyable when the actors can sing. I saw it on Broadway a few years ago and loved it, but was extremely disappointed with the movie
since they pretty much all sounded horrible.
