Toshiba, I've had 2 HP's and they've both been shitters.
HP or Toshiba for new laptop. Suggest a computer or brand

i just bought my HP at staples for a hell of a deal plus rebates. its a HP G60-230US. best buy had the same computer (different model number so they dont have
to price match) for $300 more. I love my HP so far. i use it like you do.

I have had the same Toshiba laptop for six years! The only issue has been a noisy fan, which has been a quick fix. Also, I got a virus and had to reboot my
system, but other than that there have been few problems.
I'm sure not many people could say the same, but it has been very reliable for me. |

I've had my Toshiba laptop for a little over 4 years now and I've only had minimal problems with it so far (knock on wood!). I love it!

Thats funny everyone on here says they love Toshibas, because my ex boyfriends Toshiba was a BIG piece...it just stopped working one day. Mine was a Toshiba
Satellite that I got in 05, and I had all kinds of problems with it and as of a few months ago it won't even turn on
 . My current boyfriend also has a
Toshiba (same one that I had), and his power button fell in the hole one day when he tried turning it on, so we have to do some wierd manuvers to turn it on
everytime.
Ive only had bad luck with Toshibas

I have a Mac now, but my computer before that was a Toshiba. I loved it, it lasted quite a while for a laptop.
