Is he crazy? We're not only still on probation, but we're in training! I wonder if he will have a job on Wednesday? I doubt it!

My co-worker took a day off while we were in training and it wasn't an issue. We were on probation for a year, the first 6 months of which were training
which we knew getting into it. She just wasn't paid for the day she missed.

My job was really clear in saying that they didn't want us taking off during training because there is so much we have to know before we can go on the
floor. It just seems like a really dumb thing to do.
