its intended to do. It actually makes me want to have a baby. I'm 25 and in a stable relationship, so I'm way better off than these kids but I can see
where it would make teenage girls want to have babies. They don't make it look nearly as hard as it is.
16 and pregnant does exactly the opposite of what

I thought the same thing after watching some of the earlier episodes and then tonights. It's like half of the girls have been able to move into apartments
with their baby daddy and still go to school, have family support. It doesn't really show the dark side.

It doesn't show you that sometimes families don't want to help and sometimes boys don't stay with you. It also doesn't show you the financial
struggles.

They should call it "16 and Irresponsibly Knocked Up"

I disagree. you can tell all those "fathers" will probably be out of the picture in 2-4 years because they all seem so damn irresponsible. I think this show is doing a good job. It's exposing all these dumbass girls and their dumbass boyfriends! ...it's a cautionary tale, imo |

People with common sense know it's not a good scenario...but all the episodes end fairly "happily," which will probably lead to a lot of young slut bags thinking they too can have a happy ending. Especially the white trash bigger couple...they seemed to be doing ok and mtv almost made it part fantasy since they seemed to have their shit together (for as much as teenage parents can). They (mtv) need to cut that shit out and show teens getting kicked out on the street and shit. I think this show will only enhance the "I can do it too" mentality. |

Very true. If you are stupid enough to get pregnant at 15 or 16, you don't have much of a life ahead of you.
