The only good thing about running in it was my throat didn't dry up (I'm quite the mouth breather). That was actually pretty nice. But the sweat pouring off of my body was not.
Yeah my body HATES humidity.

Come back, dry heat! Come back! And no I won't tell you the humidity percentage because you'll laugh and call me a wimp.

I mostly walk but I kind of run! My shins don't hurt anymore, and my shoes are broken in, so I'm trying to do it as much as I can.
It's rough in the heat, though. That's what gets you and makes you feel like you're going to die. I can't wait until it cools down again because I'm going to get really good at it then! |

I always go out jogging when the sun goes down - that shit is too hot for me in the daytime. I am white as a ghost and have been trying to lay out all week but
I last like 10 mins. before I get so hot I'm like "I'm too old for this shit!" and come inside to my air conditioning.
But it's nice out once the sun goes down...here anyways. |

Yeah I definitely wait until the sun goes down! But even then, the past few weeks it's still been like 100-105 degrees at 7pm. Today it was around 94 so
I'm like "WOO let's go!"
When I started walking a few months ago I could go out at 6pm, in 90 degrees and no humidity, and barely break a sweat. |

it's so funny that i can only do work in the yard between the hours of 2am and 5am otherwise it's too damn hot.
i don't know how these people who have to work outside do it. i'd just curl up in a ball and die. |

I don't get how outside workers wear long sleeves! EXPLAIN THAT. I think it has something to do with insulation but I don't get it.

lol no.it's usually bearable at 8 or 9 at night. i had to help a friend pack up her garage last week and it took us from 9am to 3pm and i seriously thought
i was going to melt. i was about ready to just say to hell with it and leave her all by herself.

10pm seems to be my magic number. Sun doesn't go down till about 9pm. I just jog through the development.

YAY so it really isn't that humid in Austin. *whew* People keep telling me it is, but I check every day and it's never very high on the weather report.
Maybe those people don't know what NC summers are like?
In any case, good for you being so dedicated to your exercise! I know I haven't been exercising outside and it's only been like 95 for the high here lately. The evenings are fairly pleasant, like 80 or so. And I'm still not doing it. |

EW okay yeah even in the dark, six hours is brutal.
Wow I'm glad the sun goes down early here. I think the sun sets at around 7:45 but it's down enough at like 7-7:15 where it's not shining on me. My area is super safe, but I don't think I'd like being outside in the dark. I'd probably run into a trash can or something. |

I didn't exercise outside until a few months ago so I didn't know what I was in for.
