Flesh and blood mean jack squat if you haven't been in their lives. She's going after that money.

If they have that settlement saying she waves all rights then that it's, it's done and whoever Jackson left the kids to will be their custodians.
That's like a mother that gives up a baby for adoption, once they sign away their rights, they can't come back a few years later and get the child. |

She might just genuinely want to have her kids in her life, and knowing that they've been passed on to a woman who's 80 is of concern.

The fact that an 11 and 12 year old might have to go live with a stranger and that they could possibly be split from Prince II is a bigger concern. Those
children have been through enough already. And if Michael Jackson had died in debt and his music wasn't selling that bitch wouldn't be trying to get
those kids "back". How can you get something back that you never had to begin with?

Funny this comes now after the fact the will states that Jackson didn't provide for her. I hope those poor kids don't end up with her, she's a
stranger and they've been through enough.
Joe aside, they at least know the Jackson family and being with Katherine is what their father wanted. |

Joe is an A hole but there has never been ANY allegations of him abusing any other of his 20 grandchildren. That bitch is just trying to be dramatic for the
media with the whole restraining order deal. They need to put one out on HER. She's the one who will cause the children emotional harm.

Rowe said the reason she planned to step forward now is because the pop star didn't "keep his end of the bargain," referring to the singer dying. Excuse me? Does that sound incredibly callous just to me? She better come up with a better reason than "I'm the biological mother" to justify her asking for custody, especially if she wants the youngest as well. Sadly, I have little trust in judges... I hope they prove me wrong and let these kids stay with relatives that have been in their lives. |

She might have a chance of getting visitation and eventual custody. If Michael is proven to have abused prescription meds, he wasn't a great choice of
caregiver. He publically stated that his dad beat him as a child. Why should the courts choose his mother as custodian of the children?

Say what you will about Michael...he wanted his kids. That fact was well publicized too.
Debbie can try all she wants...but it's pretty hard to explain away her claims that she never wanted them and only did it for the money. I don't see how a judge could look past that fact alone. I don't think she's got a shot...but if she wants to waste the millions she got from him being denied custody....go for it sweets. |

I do think the kids should be with someone younger, god knows when Katherine will go and that would be so sad for them, to be ripped away again
I wonder why he didn't leave them with Janet, maybe she doesn't want kids.. As for Debbie, hard to comment cause none of us know what was really going on behind closed doors. |

Debbie better watch out if this is true. Many crazy MJ fans would have no issues jumping her.

If the kids have a say, it's possible that they will choose to get to know their mother. Who knows.

Even though the procedure to waive all her rights from the kids was incomplete, won't the fact that the intent was there matter significantly? I mean, the
only reason she has a chance at custody now is due to some error, not because she changed her mind. That's got to be pretty damaging in front of a
judge's eyes.

Lots of people who give their kids up for adoption change their mind - why do you think so many people adopt from other countries - it's not REALLY b/c
they want to be like Angie or Madonna - it's b/c of the laws here in the US on adoption. It's one of the problems with surrogates too - they can change
their mind and not only keep their baby but they don't have to reimburse you for any money you've given toward their medical care.
How do any of you know these kids don't know who she is - especially her own kids?? At their ages I'm sure they know they have a mother and are curious about her. Also, I doubt this is about money. Why would this woman have expected to be in the will - they were divorced for many years and he probably gave her a chunk of change when that happened. Either way, you don't think Joe likes money and will be upset that he's out of the will? I mean suddenly he's back in the limelight and the other less popular Jackson's (without their own money) can milk this for all it's worth! |
