Growing up my dad sang it as "Eddie are you ok" because he's Edward and thought that was cute. When we corrected him he was like "I
like Eddie better". So now since childhood I sing it as Eddie.

i think most people feel the same. i participated in some of the sing alongs outside of the apollo and there were mad parts where people just mumbled..
