Me and my roommates can't find 2 other roommates for the house we signed a lease for in August. Our landlord knows the situation and has been trying to
help us find someone else to take over the lease but its been unsuccessful. We really can't afford to cover the rent next year and really need to get out
of it. The only thing I can think of that would help us have have grounds for termination is after we signed the lease the house was broken into and on a
different occasion one of our cars was broken into.
does anyone have advice with breaking a lease?

Why don't you just call the landlord and ask him how you can get out of it? It's his house! Or look at your lease you signed and see if it says
anything in there.

talk to the landlord, post ads on Fbook/craigslist/roommatefinder etc. |

I'd talk to the landlord. If it's just a person as the landlord, not a company, it'd probably be a lot easier to break it than if you were breaking
a contract made by a business.
