So, we have this weird assignment about writing in cursive. |

It's a class about teaching Language Arts so it kind of makes sense, but anyway! I decided I should probably practice before next week when we have to
write in class and get graded on it...and I'm horrified by myself.
 I knew I was bad (my signature is barely legible as it is), but geez. I was better
at this in preschool!

I learned how to write cursive in 2nd grade. I was surprised to learn that my cousin who's 13 was never taught it in school. I thought all schools taught
that.

My mom taught me how! The only reason I remember writing cursive in preschool is because my mom always called it "script". I guess on one of my art
papers I wrote my name in cursive. My teacher pulled me aside and was all, "You can write in cursive???" And not knowing that word and thinking she
had said "curse" instead, I was appalled and all, "NO! I am not allowed!

So yes. That's how I remember learning it then.
