Just about anyone owns Madonna in acting, and this is from something of a Madonna stan. 
Do you consider Janet Jackson to be a huge icon?

Janet is an icon in her own right. But i never have been impressed by her dancing or stage performances.
Out of all the "performer" type singers who dance, Jennifer is the only one who can really dance. But she was a working dancer before she blew up so she does have that advantage. |

Britney isn't an icon...yet. If in 10 years she is still doing her thing and causing the commotion she causes, then sure. Same with Beyonce and Justin.

I thought Janet had a weak voice a few years ago, until I re-listened to a lot of her older stuff and it's really not like that.
It's not one for
powerhouse ballads, but she can really hold her own. She just has such a pretty voice.
Everything about Janet is just so pretty or cute as far as I'm concerned.

Janet voice is not very strong BUT she knows how to use it. She kills it on those slow songs.
