Both, depending on what kind of bread it is. It lasts longer that way. (In the fridge)

I buy 2 loaves at a time and keep 1 loaf out and 1 in the fridge.

I hate eating cold bread, but it does last a lot longer in the fridge.

Pantry most of the year, but I've had to start putting it in the fridge in the summer b/c it molds too fast in the pantry.

In the fridge during the summer (I don't eat it cold, but it's no problem to set a couple pieces out on the counter for a few minutes to get it to room
temp when I want it), in the winter though it stays in the bread box or on the counter.
