OK, she KNOWS they were trying to not be recognized, then approached them anyway? and i don't know how P&J were supposed to know they were being approached "not as a groupie but as someone who has loved cinema"? to them, it's probably indistinguishable.
i know it's tempting if you're a huge fan of someone to approach them, because you might never have the opportunity ever again. especially if you have a good intention of just telling them how much their work means to you. but it's so important to try to see it from their perspective, and that they're getting this constantly.
