I came accross this 'petition' to get Jay Z banned from performing on the VMA's this year to promote his album because he is the reason Chris didn't get on BET? LOL. we the undersigned petition ... Jay Z to be banned from the VMA's 2009 if he was involved in Chris Brown BET awards ban The Jackson family requested that Chris Brown peform and honour his idol Michael Jackson at the BET awards. Jay Z may have been instrumental in getting Chris Brown pulled from the BET awards. Jay Z is not free from controversy or legal problems himself. That shit was NOT a tribute to MJ. It was a talent show for Jamie and Ne-Yo ... and still that wasn't enough to make it a decent show. I'm saddened that Janet actually left her familiy's side in order to show up to that hot mess. So embarrassing. Also Chris, Jamie, Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Beyonce and Jay-Z will all perform at the VMAs MJ tribute I'm sure, so none of this even matters. Hopefully Jamie will wear those ridiculously funny capris, Ne-Yo WILL wear a hat ... any hat , Chris will leave his boxing gloves at the gym and Bey will leave her naughty nighties at home and perform a real tribute in actual clothes.
