How does this facebook spam know my boyfriend and my job?! |

I keep getting the "So and so invited you to join facebook!" spam at my work email address. So and so in this case is my boyfriend, with a link to
his facebook and a "other people you may know" with our friends' facebooks listed. I don't use my work email address for anything but work!
This is creepy!

Your boyfriend probably invited you to join and just sent it to your work email. It shows the people you may know thing because he's friends with them and
they assume you know some of the same people.

"invited" means your boyfriend sent you the invite... he emailed the link to your work address. Not so creepy.

He didn't send me an invite! I've been on facebook with my college email for 3 years and I forced HIM to join
 I've gotten 12 of the same
message today. It's definitely spam.
