"It is with regret that I am unable to participate in the BET Awards Tribute to Michael Jackson on June 28th. When the BET Awards producers and organizers reached out to me to participate in the tribute, I was extremely flattered and humbled by the opportunity to pay tribute to the world's greatest musical icon. Unfortunately, I am currently overseas and would not make it back in time to the Awards show. I look forward to seeing the show and I plan to work on a tribute to Michael Jackson when I return."

I wouldn't be surprised if Justin was still in England too. I wonder when that statement was made. it would have been nice if it came out before the show tonight. I would have tuned in anyway, but I feel had a lot of other people known this, they wouldn't have watched.

She came in at 3 in the morning and with MJ's death she probably thought let me just sing something easy and appropriate for him that I don't really have to change. But even that performance was lacking from what she gives on tour (she should have sung Halo made more sense, but the end of Ava Marie I believe is a prayer to those we have lost).

Beyonce's overkill. No excuses for her. She could have just sat in the audience and looked pretty. She didn't have to perform.

And bless Janet for making an appearance. I was too disturbed at Joe snapping and clapping. There was a permanent on my face the whole night just for him.
