Even if Usher, Chris and the rest could not show up. They totally missed the boat with the people that were there.
Again, why was Beyonce singing in a nightie and then angel wings and wedding dress to Ave Maria. She could have transitioned into "I'll be there", "save the world, or something else. Ciara is not that strong a singer to do an acoustic set, so why not have her dance to beat it or Scream or something else? Alicia keys was there....play something MJ related So many other opportunities. That were basically missed. I know they had three days, but if they have "true performers" and a real plan, they could have pulled it together. Really, a lot of people that normally don't watch BET tuned in tonight and it was an embarrassment to be honest. The better parts of the show were really not MJ related until Janet came out at the end. Did we really need to recreate scenes from Baby Boy tonight, of all nights? SRLY? |
