I read about it on Melinda Bells twitter. I wonder if it's true?

Chris Brown singing "Beat It" just didn't seem right.

Maybe the Jackson family told them having a convicted felon who beat his girlfriend pay tribute to their son was in bad taste. BET should have already made
that decision.

I definitely thought the "Beat It" thing was a rumor.

it sucks that Chris screwed up so bad. I almost feel like the NEED him for this. He's the only one that really gets Michael on the dancing tip. Usher can
dance his ass off, but in recent years, he's stopped dancing as much and his performances haven't been that good. I remember people on this board and
other places tuning in to award shows to ONLY watch Chris Brown performances. We hadn't had that SINCE Michael.
He really effed up. |

I don't know if it's true or not. Doesn't sound like something they would do. Plenty of artists have done some bad shit and they welcome them back
because they are good performers. Something tells me Melinda might not be that in the know anymore.

Well I checked the website, tonight the slated honoree is for the O'Jays, he was never listed as a performer, so since everything is so new I don't
think there is any definite information on the tribute. At least, nothing was ever confirmed on their website.

justin is worse, after what he did to janet he shouldn't be allowed to tribute michael. chris didn't do anything to michael's family like justin
did.

If Rihanna is performing, I doubt they would have him there as well. Her people may have requested something. Good job, Chris. Good freaking job.
