More important to us is not the same as to you or anyone else. I have three kids that I have to provide for before myself so it would be a waste of money to me.

If I just happen to have $1K+ in my bank account and see it as I pass by a window, then no. I most likely need that money. As someone else stated, people can spend insane amounts of money on other items, such as electronics. If I save specifically for the bag, then what is it to anyone else?
