i have leftover pasta i wanna make a white sauce for but i dont have cream. can i use mayonaise instead?

No mayo. Egg and oil just doesn't work for a white sauce.
You can use yogurt, sour cream, milk (if you make a roux). I'd stick to dairy products, really. |
