Liza Minnelli's statement:
"He was a kind, genuine, and wonderful man. He was also one of the greatest entertainers that ever lived. I loved him very much and I will miss him every remaining day of my life." |

JC Chasez, who performed alongside Jackson with 'NSYNC at the 2001 VMAs, said, "Words can't begin to describe my sadness for the loss of Michael
Jackson. I was honored and humbled to have the opportunity to perform with him several times, and he had a profound influence on my career. Michael forever
changed the world of music and entertainment, and I will always remember him for his kind and sweet spirit."

Usually there is noise and lots of talking in my house. Usually my man's guy friends are milling around in the studio. Tonight is the first night they
are all gathered around the tv watching all quiet and stuff. MTV is doing good job tonight.
My cousin called me from NY. She took the subway from 145th street to 125th to go to the Apollo, But she says she walking back cause its crowded as fuck. People are out and actually celebrating his life. Times like this I wish I was in NYC. |

That tattoo reminds me of the one where the guy got Michael's autograph tattooed on his back. I'm sure he is cherishing that now.

I hope this doesn't set Liza back.
Samantha Ronson: His music is just as relevant now as it was the day they pressed record, I'm sure it will remain so for generations to come.R.I.P.Mr Jackson. This is perfect. |

I thought Hanson's statement was nice:
It is difficult to think of a more significant loss from the passing of an icon, than that of Michael Jackson...His entire 40 year career has been one of the greatest inspirations to our music. In the early part of our career he and his brothers...helped motivate us to pursue music regardless of our age. He was an unequaled talent who set the bar for how music can effect the world...We join the millions of music fans, mourning the passing of this true great! Taylor, Isaac and Zac Hanson There are so many ellipses because it was posted over multiple twitter passages. |
