Straight up sad and devastated about this, an icon and I will always love his music. Extremely talented, I truly hope he's at peace....finally.

The biggest tragedy of all is that such a talent would spend the last years of his life so tortured and secluded rather than on the stage performing where he
belonged. It just isn't right that my children never got to see him perform "live" as I did and that so many young people and generations to come
won't fully understand the impact this man had on music because there are so many copycats out there for each generation that has followed him...and they
actually think they are seeing something new.
I will never forget that Motown 25 performance. I had the worst fucking case of pink eye. I couldn't even have the lights on in the room because my eyes were just on fire. I had a damp cloth over my eyes up until that very last minute...

He was at the peak of his career before my time and therefore I was never obsessed with him, but he changed pop music forever and he should be remembered for
this. He was a HUGE icon. He actually made great music. His personal life was irrelevant. (I never believed he was a child molester, either.) This is a very
sad day.

What's worse is that a person in the ambulance took the picture and sold it.

That picture is disgusting. I am really saddened by this and am putting on his music to make me feel better. His legacy will always live on through his music.
