regardless if you liked him or not, we're all mourning the loss of a super influential pop star known world wide and often credited as the inspiration for
many of today's artists.
opinions about his personal life is for another thread... |

I was actually wondering when I first heard if it was it was suicide but I didn't say anything. Now I'm very curious to hear the report.

I don't want to hear about MJ's fuck ups. I really don't.
Maybe that's the fan in me but I want to hear about the good shit like his
contributions to the music world. They don't have to paint him as an angel but...![]() I'm emotional. Fuck. I never thought I would get like this. *turns on my MJ playlist* |

I hope this isn't true. I just hope. It hasn't really been confirmed by anyone other than L.A. Times.
I hope that if he does pass away, that it isn't on the same day as Farrah. I remember that when John Ritter and Johnny Cash passed away on the same day, coverage of one's death overshadowed coverage of the other,. depending on what station you were watching. Sad day today, all around. Sorry but he's a huge pop star. When someone big like him dies, it overshadows everything else in the news. People will be talking about this for
a while.

Abuse of prescription drugs can weaken your heart which can lead to heart disease. And often the 1st sign of heart disease is a cardiac arrest (the complete
stopping of the heart) that 95% of victims never come back from.

With all of this surgeries, and injuries he got on the road over the years, anyone would be stupid to think he WASN'T taking medications. He would have
probably been in unbearable pain without them. Unfortunately over time they take a toll on your organs.

It sounds like the Jackson family was worried about his condition for a while. Maybe people were enabling him with drugs with the idea they would all profit
from the tour? I don't know but it seemed like he was pointing the finger to Michael's "friends" and handlers.

Quincy Jones Statement if it hasn't been posted already:
"I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news," the music producer Quincy Jones said in a statement read by MSNBC. Mr. Jones said Mr. Jackson "had it all - talent, grace, professionalism and dedication." Mr. Jones said added, "I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him." http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/06/25/michael-jackson-hospitalized/?hp |
