They (the news) WILL NOT announce he died until official word from the family. Or their spokesperson...
Gox News and Geraldo are on. Full Cardiac Arrest is what it is. HEART STOPPED. Did they revive him? How long was he without his heart pumping? Even if they were able to get a pulse he might be alive only because of machines until his family (especially his mom) are there. I'll hold out hope for MJ but it looks bleak |

CNN says now that family are being called to the hospital. I think they're waiting for confirmation from the hospital and assurance that all the family
members are there and have been notified if he did die

CNN just said that family was asked to come to the hospital. They generally do that when they inform the family and then they will announce it to the public.
The announcement should come soon.

There may be hope, CNN just updated their news reports in the present again. They are saying that he was revived by paramedics and that he is in a coma.
