its 11:10 pm and for some reason about 9 adults and 15 children across the street have decided that right now would be a great time to play basketball and
scream at the top of their lungs...they have also been kind enough to point their flood light directly into my room. They have these get togethers every
Tuesday but usually are quiet and gone by 10pm. I am tired and want to sleep FML

I have to live across the street from them...I can only imagine how awkward it would be every single day seeing them if I were to call the cops. I thought
about yelling "shut the fuck up!!" out my window but decided that would be just as bad.

normally I wouldnt either but a couple of years ago the people that lived in this same house across the street had really horrible vicious dogs that would get
out all the time....so we called the cops on them (after the dogs attacked a lady walking her dog) and they found out it was us and then went out of their way
to be assholes, so I want to avoid that with these people if possible.

Why don't you politely ask them if they could take their gathering inside? If they are rude about it, then fuck it...call the cops. I would much rather
have awkwardness around the neighborhood than being kept up often when I want to sleep.
