Is there a way to make my phone beep/sound when I get a new message on BBM. The only way I can get my phone to do anything other than blink for BBM is when I
put it on vibrate. Otherwise the LED just blinks and as I use BBM more than texting I'd really like a noise alert.

yep.. go to your sound settings -> Advanced -> normal -> scroll down to messenger - New Message
you can pick your settings from there. |

Yeah, the notification profiles confused me at first. I just got my BB on Sunday and I think I have most of it figured out. I just need time to adjust to using
the right keys/actions.

Yeah, everything that has to do with ringtones/beeps are under profiles >> advanced
