By no means is Jon a victim.
So what your wife is a bitch and didnt support you, or treat you fairly. He wasnt a perfect husband either, he was pretty snappy and rude to Kate at times to begin with anyways. But what the hell is he doing now? He's not acting like a father who wants to "put his kids first" or who are the most important thing to him. He's being ridiculous. |

Are you freaking kidding me? Sometimes divorce is the best answer for couples and their children. I have a sibling, and our parents divorced and it was probably the best thing for all 4 of us. Divorce isnt always a bad thing. Yeah it's heartache, and pain when it initially occurs, but eventually wounds heal and you move on. |

If Kate can afford $265.00 Versace sunglasses and Jon can afford the entire Ed Hardy line....something tells me the money is flowing just fine. And lest we forget....Kate's sham of a cookbook will be availible for sale very soon. |

I kind of hate that this spoils the "big announcement" tonight even though I figured this is what it was. It does suck for the kids but I agree that
its better for Jon and Kate to divorce than stay together just for the kids, that will mess them up more. Sad situation

Lideem wrote: Back around when the season premiere aired, ET said they were worth (including the rest of the base of Kate's book deal and the rest of this season) around $11 million and should they divorce, Jon would get half. If you think Jon can be fiscally responsible, they can quit and be fine. If you think Kate is going to have be the sole provider, it should still be do-able, given the assumption of some continued freebies and Kate being a cheap bitch, but not by a huge margin, especially if they look at wanting to put something toward their kids' college educations or in trusts for them. |

I haven't watched the early seasons. Was Kate nicer then?

Kate was more fun to laugh at in the early days. Like when she would berate Jon it'd be funny for us because of how crazy she was. Now she's just
gross.

She always complained how he was doing things when he would dress them. She even flipped out at him once for using the "good" ponytail holders. And the Toys R Us fiasco was pretty early on in the show.... |

Awww remember when the opening of the show had her saying "HELLOOOOO" to Jon at some pumpkin patch event? I miss that.

Kate is a bitch and Jon is a baby. Jon has always passively walked around and Kate has always bitched at him to get things done. They were doomed from the get
go. that worked for them when it was just them but then you add kids into the mix and no good.
