So what do we think the life-changing decision is going to be? The obvious is divorce, but I wouldn't be sad if they decided to leave the show and deal
with things off camera; watching old seasons and noticing how much simpler things were makes the new season and drama sad to watch.

I don't know, but I'm gonna need a recap because my TLC doesn't work anymore

I think they will say they tried to work on their marriage, but it was just to hard. I really don't see Kate giving up the show.

There was a rumor on the radio that it was an announcement for some movie they may be doing? God, I hope not.
I don't see them announcing a divorce on the show. I hope it's not something stupid that they had that commercial just for ratings. |

I think it's so funny that Jon goes on and on about how much he hates the show, but there he was yesterday at the front gate of his house, when he should
have been with his 8 kids on Father's Day, signing autographs. And when he was asked questions about the announcement, etc his response was "Watch the
show!" Uh okay Jon. You mean the show you "hate"?

^^^ My thoughts exactly. But I'm not really a huge Jon fan either.

I used to like them, but I agree, Jon accepts what the money can buy: the car, the travel, the big house, the motorcycle, the hair plugs, the trainer, the
freebies, etc.......but then complains..nope, doesn't wash with me.
Kate, well, she has become Ms. Diva, and even more controlling and lazy..snaps her fingers and people better do what she says. I really don't see either one of them giving up the money from the show. They like it too much...the money that is. |

Apparently they are going to separate for the summer and go to counselling in the fall, don't know how true it is, but it sounds likely if they are
continuing the show.

EJF -- I can understand why Jon would say "Watch the show" and not give anything away as they are probably under contract to not reveal anything
until the show is aired. What would be the point then of anyone watching the show if they gave it away before it airs?

Yeah, the separation thing would make sense, plus they seem used to being apart; we'll see...let's hope there are no sad moments like the first one.

Why not just skip the threads if they bother you?

Jon Gosselin Downplays Big Announcement: "Today's Just Another Day"
Monday June 22, 2009 ![]() COP/Buzzfoto/FilmMagic Jon Gosselin doesn't seem too fazed by his big "life-changing" announcement with Kate on tonight's show. When asked by RadarOnline.com at the grocery store today if he'd be happy when the much-discussed episode is over, a calm Jon said: 'Well, today's just another day." VIDEO: Watch Jon talk about the announcement. Jon added that he has "no idea" when Kate would be coming home. "I've been by myself for four days," he said. But when asked if he's happy she's gone, he said: "No, because I'm down a person." He did say the kids were anxious for their mom to return, although when asked if he knew where she is and when she'd return to their $1.1-million estate, he answered "nope" to both. Jon gave another impromptu press conference to fans and reporters Sunday afternoon -- Father's Day. He told onlookers that he wasn't speaking to Deanna Hummel -- the school teacher with whom Us Weekly first reported he was having an affair -- "as much" since "the things went down. When pressed to confirm if he and Kate were announcing a divorce during Monday's hour-long special, Gosselin -- who was spotted apartment hunting in NYC last week -- said you'd have "watch the show." |

Froggy86 wrote:Oh, really...I've only seen the really short, basic one. The premiere is on again and the Alexis/Jon part gets me every time, except I didn't cry like a baby this time since I've seen it so much. His kids love him so much...I would hope that love would at least keep him focused to make smart decisions. |

Kate recently met with a family lawyer to file for legal seperation. That's what the big announcement will be. |
